Agave ovatifolia was planted around Dallas and survived for decades unscathed by drought or cold. We have also received several reports of Agave ovatifolia surviving 5 degrees F when kept dry. Agave expert Greg Starr, curious to know its identity, retraced Lynn's route and found the
