Bletilla striata x formosana 'Sweet Lips', Hardy Ground Orchid early bloomer wavy chartreuse edgingRacemes of pale to fuschia blush orchid like flowers emerge in spring to reveal a burst of color on the lower lip with mesmerizing stripes and mottling. Flowers are somewhat more relaxed on their stalks compared to the more upright forms of B. striata. Leaves are decidious and strap like. Despite the woodland heritage of the species, 'Sweet Lips' can do quite well in sun with adequate water and or a more water retentive media. Mature size: 24" tall
