Constructed of silver with multi coloured enamels, on loop for suspension, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by a bow tie ribbon, topped by a German State Crown, around a central insignia consisting of a black and white enameled square within a red enameled border, the reverse with a central visible rivet securing the obverse applique in place, unmarked, measuring 32. 34
